Water - greet it and speak to it before drinking it
When you pour yourself a glass of water, make a habit of holding the glass in your hand for a few seconds and saying, ‘I salute you, good, pure and living water. I ask you, dear servant of God, to fill me with purity.’ When you do this, you will feel a subtle fluid permeating your whole being. Look at the water and identify with it. Imagine that you too are just as transparent and crystal-clear. Little by little, water will no longer be simply a colourless, insignificant liquid you use for cooking and washing; you will feel the source of all wonders open up within you. People and things will reveal themselves to you as they are in reality, beyond their physical appearance.
