We can simply call this discernment. But this faculty I am talking about belongs more to the realm of sensation than to the realm of understanding. It is something which is very difficult to explain. This faculty is acquired through observation, reflection, meditation and prayer, but above all through vigilance. It is important to analyse yourself after every experience so that you know where you are as a result of it. By making every effort to develop this faculty, this model… or this radar, you will be able to conduct yourself correctly in all of life’s circumstances.
