Actions - working until they express our ideal
Who has not become suddenly enthused one day by the idea of goodness, or truth, or beauty? But how difficult it is then to match our feelings, not to mention our actions, to this idea! We must persevere, however. The world of ideas, the world of thought, is where we must set up home. When we nurture a particular thought each day, it eventually establishes itself in our feelings, and the feelings in turn dictate our actions. It may only take a day to change our philosophy, but how much time and work it takes to overcome a failing or rid ourselves of a bad habit! Movement and speech are among the most effective means for helping to bring ideas down from the spiritual world into the physical. This is why it is important to do exercises every day.
