There are times when you suddenly feel engulfed by light; all at once you feel as if you have been projected on to the level of the superconscious, and you are overwhelmed by its beauty, its immensity. Unfortunately this does not last, and soon you return to your everyday existence with your same worries, your same weaknesses. You feel cut off from the Divine, from your higher Self. You feel like an isolated fragment, cast aside somewhere. Then, sometime later, you feel a glimmer of light again, you feel enlightened; but once again it does not last. Well, do not be discouraged. If you persevere in your spiritual work, one day, after all these highs and lows, light will come to you and will never leave you again. You will have crossed the river to the other bank, and you will be forever saved.
