Alchemy - true alchemy is spiritual alchemy
The Sun and the Moon with which alchemists work symbolize the masculine and feminine principles. This is why disciples of Initiatic Science know that true alchemy is spiritual alchemy, and that the two principles with which they must work are their will (the Sun) and their imagination (the Moon).
