Situations - avoid seeing only the negative, bad side

Whenever some new event or situation crops up, take the time to consider both sides of the matter. Do not focus exclusively on the negative aspects.* Of course, I am not saying that we should delude ourselves by always saying that everything that happens is good, but we must refuse to dwell only on the bad aspects. You probably think that this advice is not exactly new, that you know all that already… Well, if you know it, put it into practice! Observe yourselves and you will see that you often forget this rule and give in to unhappiness and pessimism. In doing so, not only do you fail to reason correctly, but you also prevent your soul from blossoming and taking flight. This is how you destroy yourselves spiritually and even physically. Yes, why do we colloquially say that worry ‘is eating away’ or ‘gnawing’ at someone who is constantly anxious and dissatisfied?
