The concept of creation is the quintessence of our teaching. Yes, to create, but to create what? Paintings or sculpture? To work on canvas, wood or marble? No, to work on yourself, because you yourself are the true base material. A sculptor produces a few statues and that is all very well, but when you look at that person, you see that they have never tried to sculpt themselves: they are still merely raw material.
