Banks, heaven’s - where we open an account and pay into it
It's not only on earth that banks exist; heaven also has them. Everything luminous and pure that emanates from us, anything we do, feel or think that is inspired by nobleness, disinterestedness or generosity, is kept on file without our knowledge by entities whose task this is; it is then placed in heaven's bank as capital in our name, as if we had opened an account. Afterwards, when we are going through difficulties or want to do some good and help other beings, we can ask for aid, for support, and this bank will grant it immediately. But if no capital has been deposited, heaven's bank will not know us. How many people wonder whether heaven hears their prayers! The answer is: heaven will only hear and answer those who have deposited riches in God's bank.
