Divine justice - takes into account what we do with the faculties we are given

Heaven judges people only by what they are capable of giving with the means at their disposal. We meet people in life who are truly deprived: they were born into impoverished families where they have been ill-treated and raised with the worst possible examples. They have poor health and have had little schooling and one would think that there is nothing to expect from them. And yet, through sustained effort and unwavering conviction, they have managed to triumph over their circumstances and to achieve what others, far more privileged than they, have not been able to achieve. Well, this is what heaven looks at when it sends us to earth: what we succeed in doing with the faculties we are given and the conditions we have to work in. For life is so rich in possibilities that each of us can always find ways to improve ourselves and to enrich ourselves spiritually.
