Food - how to draw out the most beneficial elements from it
What do you think about when you eat? About your financial problems, about troubles in your love life, or about some remarks that recently offended you? In these conditions, how do you think you can make use of all the energies contained in your food? You are distracted, unfocused, and you swallow unconsciously. Even if your organism is nourished and reinforced, it has in fact received only the most material elements, and therefore the least life-giving. You have no idea of all the energies you could benefit from if you really knew how to eat – in inner silence, concentrating on the food in order to extract the etheric particles, for it is these that are the most beneficial. So, try to think of nothing else during meals. For at least half an hour, put everything else to one side and concentrate on what you put in your mouth.
