God - our place of origin, to which we will return

The reason humans commit so many errors of judgement, make so many mistakes and experience so much suffering is that they don’t know what they have come to earth to do. They come, and then they leave... Where do they come from, and to where do they return? They don’t know. But there is only one answer to both these questions: God. We came from the divine Source to which we will one day return. Which paths will we take, during the course of our many incarnations, before we return to the Source? That depends on us. God has planned an extraordinary destiny for humans. Very occasionally we receive a fleeting glimpse of it, and we must cling to these visions with all our might. Everything that happens to us on our return path represents stages of the journey. Even though they may be difficult and painful, these stages must never erase from our memory the vision of what we will finally become when we return to the bosom of the Eternal, with all our experiences and all the qualities and virtues acquired and developed along the way.
