Happiness - the consciousness of feeling, if only once, like a child of God
The greatest happiness in life is to be conscious that you are a child of God; to feel, if only once, that you are safe within the bosom of the Eternal, in that original candour, that original innocence. But you can hope to enjoy such a state of consciousness only if you undertake a great work with light in order to purify and illuminate all the dark corners of your psychic life. At the same time, try to identify more and more with your higher Self, with your spirit, in order to recall what you were in the distant past.* In this way, you will one day feel regenerated, restored to a state of grace as a true child of God. Only our spirit is truly innocent, and it is by drawing closer to our spirit that we can regain our original innocence.
