Jesus - ‘My Father and I are one’

Jesus said, ‘My Father and I are one.’ To be able to say such a thing, Jesus must have already done an immense amount of work. And, following his example, this is the work that we too have to do. Those for whom this identification becomes a reality live in a state of plenitude. God is within us, just as his kingdom is within us. If you become conscious of being inseparable from the Creator, you will find that you see more and more clearly how to solve your problems, and above all, how to do good to those around you. Whereas if you are far off, you will be left to your own resources which are very limited. How sad that Christians reject the path that Jesus laid out for them! They should know that some Hindus are far more advanced in their understanding. When they practice Jnana yoga, the yoga of knowledge, they learn to meditate on the formula, ‘I am He’, repeating it within themselves until it becomes part of their flesh and blood. At that point, their own little, limited self no longer exists. It is the Lord and he alone who lives within them, and from then on they are capable of working miracles.*
