Life - ask yourself what sort of Life you are living

Jesus said: ‘I came that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.' Human beings seek power, wealth, knowledge and love, when in fact they ought to seek life. ‘But why seek life?' you ask. ‘We already have it, we are alive! We should look for what we do not have.' You are alive, it is true, but there are different degrees of life, and it is not the same for everyone. It is not enough to be alive; you must ask yourself what sort of life you are living. Through his physical structure, of course, man lives the life of a human being, but inwardly his life can take on an infinite variety of forms and colours: those of a stone, a plant, or an animal, for example – or an angel, an archangel or a divinity. And when Jesus said: ‘I have come that they might have life', this life he intends to bring all human beings is divine life, this current which streams pure and clear from the very Source.
