Princess held captive by a dragon, a - an initiatic tale

A beautiful princess is held captive by a dragon in a castle filled with great treasure. Several knights come and attempt to free her, but they are all devoured. Until one day a handsome prince arrives, to whom a magician, who knows the dragon’s weaknesses, has entrusted the secret for conquering it. Once victorious, the prince frees the princess, and what sweet kisses they exchange! Henceforth, all the treasures hoarded for centuries in the castle belong to this handsome victorious prince. Then, mounted on the fire-breathing dragon, the prince and princess fly off into space. Let us now interpret this tale. The dragon represents sexual force, and the castle the body with all its treasures. In this castle sighs the princess – our soul that the dragon, having not yet been mastered, prevents us from tasting true love. The prince is our spirit and the prince’s weapons are the means we have at our disposal to master this force and put it to use. Once tamed, the dragon serves as a mount. For if it is represented with a snake tail – symbol of the subterranean forces – it also has wings to carry us towards the heights.
