Sun's rays, the - we must nourish the ones in us, just like a mother feeds her child

In the Emerald Tablet, Hermes Trismegistus reads a mysterious sentence: 'Its father is the sun and its mother the moon; the wind has borne it in its body, and the earth has nourished it.' With its light, the sun gives the seeds; the moon is the ether that reflects and sends back the light; the wind carries the seeds; and the earth: we must first nourish ourselves with the sun's rays to then in turn nourish them, just as a mother feeds her child. Because we must also give something of our own substance to the sun's rays so they may grow and develop in us. Each morning we receive the sun's light, warmth and life, and we must preserve them, reinforce them and feed them until the following day so that they may go deep within us. Whether we are men or women, we are like a mother in whom a work of gestation takes place. Everyone one must support, help and nourish what the sun has entrusted to them.
