Trust - knowing in whom to place it

You will never find anyone who is prepared to meet your every need. If you find it necessary to have friends or advisors, then at least learn how to choose them. Human beings are what they are; it is unwise to expect more from them than they can give, and it is even less intelligent to reproach them for failing to meet your expectations. There are people to whom you can entrust any job, and it will get done. There are others with whom you can leave your house, even your purse, without misgivings, because you know they will not touch them. And there are others with whom you can share your worries and even your most intimate secrets, and they will never betray you. It is up to you to know what you can entrust to whom.
