Walking - learning to appreciate the privilege

Learn to appreciate the freedom with which you are able to move about. When it is useful for you to go somewhere, for yourself or someone else, don’t claim that walking is boring or tiring. Don’t be lazy – just go! Otherwise, you might later regret the time when you were able to go about easily. And thank heaven for keeping you on your feet and active! Don’t wait until you are suffering with your knee, ankle or foot before coming to understand how much of a privilege it is to be able to move. Be grateful every day that you can come and go, and do not shirk the effort.
