Each of the major periods in the history of the earth has been marked by the predominance of one of the four elements: earth, water, air, fire. Our present era will be dominated by fire, and humanity will come to know every form that fire can take. This is why we should strengthen our relationship with fire and befriend it. By linking ourselves to the sun – true fire – and by contemplating it, we can gradually change the vibrations of our being until we feel we become one with the sun. Those who love the sun, and who have understood its rightful place in their spiritual life, will not be affected by the negative aspects of fire.
