Every day we are faced with temptations. To be tempted …

Every day we are faced with temptations. To be tempted means to receive an influence. But what is an influence? It is a current that attempts to penetrate us, a kind of food. It is not always possible to prevent these currents from infiltrating us, but once they have found their way in we must do all we can to transform them. If we give in, if we succumb to a weakness, our inner tribunal notes that we were unable to digest these substances, and they come back up in one form or another as psychic disturbances or even physical problems. Harmful foods that are not allowed to enter have no chance to come back up, so be careful not to let them in. But, since this is not always possible, once they have entered you must make great efforts to transform them so they are digestible.
