The way you see life is always a reflection of how you are yourself. If you say life is beautiful, it is because you are beautiful inside, and if you think it is absurd and ugly, it means you are seeing something of yourself in the mirror. Life is in our image, we see in it only what we carry within us. This is why one life is always different from another. People talk about 'life' and they think they know what they are talking about, imagining that the entire world is invested with the same degree and quality of life. No, when we say 'life', we each talk at our own level and base our opinion on our own life. We do not know true life, in all its fullness, greatness and immensity, we can only come close to it.
