Everyone tries to get what’s due to them by insisting on their rights. But they should leave all that to one side. Those who are always asserting their rights make a great deal of noise, and they often turn out to be as unjust as those they complain about, sometimes even more so. You are following a spiritual teaching in order to learn the best way to ‘settle your account’. You must understand that, in the future, the present codes of justice will no longer be current. The courts will no longer consider complaints lodged by those claiming their personal interests have been damaged but will respond to all requests made by those defending the common interest, the divine right. But while you are waiting for this day, be patient in the knowledge that, even though justice may be slow to arrive, it does exist, and one day it will show itself.
