Vigilance is vital to spiritual progress. Therefore, every moment of the day, be aware of what enters you and what leaves you, analyze the thoughts, wishes and feelings that go through you, but also analyze the energies that leave you. It is in your inner laboratory that you must examine the reality of things and ascertain whether you are moving forwards or backwards. If you are not aware, how can you know what is going on? There have been times when I have asked someone: 'What are you thinking about?' and their reply has been: 'I don't know.' I find this really quite astounding. Currents and entities are entering and leaving these people and they are not even aware of the comings and goings. How can people like that be in control of the situation? They will always be weak and defeated. Whatever the currents passing through you, you must recognize their nature, the regions from which they have come; this is how you will progress. In an initiatic school there is only room for people who have awareness.
