All human beings have a vague feeling that somewhere there …

All human beings have a vague feeling that somewhere there is a place meant just for them where they will be happy. But very few have found this place. When a seed is planted in the soil, it germinates, grows and bears fruit. It says: ‘I’ve found my place!’ Its true place was not in the granary where, with a multitude of other seeds, it would have dried up or perhaps been devoured by mice and grubs. Its place was in the earth. Most people are like seeds, waiting in the granary for someone to come and sow them. They have not found their place and are not ready to germinate. And yet, we are all called to find our place, and no one can deny us this place God has reserved for us.
