In order to see things as they really are, you must find out how cosmic Intelligence sees and understands them, and you can only do this by observing nature. This is what the initiates do: when nature says yes to an idea, they accept it as correct. If she says no, they reject it. You too must learn to verify things in the great book of creation, in other words to seek confirmation of your thinking, by means of analogy, in all the kingdoms of nature: mineral, vegetable, animal, human, and all the way to the stars.
