The fact that you are unable to break free of your material …
The fact that you are unable to break free of your material preoccupations prevents you from receiving heaven’s revelations. It is not a question of abandoning your concerns, but at least of being able to put them down for a bit, as one would a heavy burden. Look at porters, for example, who carry the equipment on mountain treks: from time to time they put down their load, take a breather, sit down, nibble something, have a drink, then load up again and continue on their way. Can you not do the same? From time to time, leave your worries somewhere, just for an hour or two; you can be sure no one is going to come and steal them! Not many people are willing to take on another person’s burden. So put them down, confidently, and renew your contact with heaven.
