All of nature – mountains, rivers, trees, crystals, metals, all living beings, even human beings – is nothing other than numbers incarnated. If you study this question in depth, you will find that nothing exists apart from numbers. Everything is number; nature and the whole universe are built upon numbers, which form an indestructible, geometric framework similar to the skeleton. So mathematics is abstract only at the level of principles; in the created world it takes on flesh and bone.
