There is no higher aspiration than to serve God, but among the billions of people on earth, very few bother to learn how to go about it. You who wish to serve God must begin by working on yourself, in order to break free from old habits and the influence of others in your world, where first priority is given to material success, pleasure and ambition. In doing so you feel new needs awaken within you: the need to learn, to continually improve and to realize your deepest self. Most importantly, you do not use the fact that you have dedicated yourself to God as justification for preaching to the ‘infidels’ or persecuting them, as some do. You strive only to become such a model of wisdom and love that others, when they see you, seek to imitate you.
