However great the possibilities may be for scientists to …

However great the possibilities may be for scientists to explore and exploit matter, after an initial period of wonder at their discoveries, they will begin to feel a sense of inner emptiness. For nothing that can be touched, embraced, or understood by the intellect has the power to fulfil them. Only immensity, mystery, the invisible, the intangible, only all that is unknown can satisfy and fulfil the human soul. This is where true science lies. True science is not the product of intellectual acquisitions, but rather an understanding of human nature, of the psychic and spiritual structure of human beings, of their subtle bodies, their highest aspirations, and their bonds with the entire universe. There is no reason to reject certain phenomena because they cannot be classified as things which can be observed and measured. The spiritual life is said to be a non-scientific phenomenon. All right, if you want to remain in a vacuum and be permanently dissatisfied, pay attention only to what is considered 'scientific'.
