Humans do not really see the riches of the world around …

Humans do not really see the riches of the world around them. Why not? Because they have a materialistic, and therefore superficial, view of it: they only look at how they can make use of scientific discoveries for their own satisfaction. And for precisely the same reasons, they are unaware of how they could make the most of their own body. Our lungs, heart, ears, eyes, hands, liver, feet and so on are great riches, which most people do not know how to use. Driven by forces they are unable to control and which they are not even conscious of, they amble aimlessly here and there, swinging their arms and legs, listening to this, looking at that, chewing away at whatever they’ve put in their mouth. Materialistic philosophy has obscured their vision to such an extent they no longer have any notion of what true life is. It’s time they understood how to make use of the resources of nature and of their own body in order to grow in spiritual stature.
