Harm - the harm that we do to ourselves is reflected on the whole world

It is true that you will meet with difficulties, and that people are often mean and ungrateful, but is that a reason to be always outraged, indignant and bitter? In the end, you are the one to suffer from this attitude. People may say, ‘But I am free to do as I like, as long as I am hurting only myself and nobody else.’ Well, this proves how little they understand. We are all linked to each other, and our moods of sadness, depression and darkness are reflected on those around us. You do not wish to hurt anyone? On the face of it, this is true but, in fact, your behaviour spreads negative emanations and particles that are harmful to other people. You are mistaken if you believe that you are separate from other people, for your thoughts and feelings act on your parents and friends, and even on the animals, plants and objects around you. By hurting yourself, you are hurting the whole world.*
