So many artists have consciously tried to multiply their love affairs because they were under the impression that love kept their inspiration alive! It is true that this very human, sensual and fickle love was the source of a few inspirations, but unfortunately, it was principally the cause of greater disorders. Love is like wine, it brings wild ecstasy; but ecstasy sought in the lower regions leads to the same physical and moral degeneration as drunkenness. True love must be sought up above in the realms of the soul and spirit. This love makes you more attractive, enlightens you. Thanks to this love, you do good to all creatures, and above all you are happy. Wisdom will not bring you happiness; neither will power. Power will make you invincible but not happier. To be happy, you have to love.
