You judge something to be good or evil depending on whether,…

You judge something to be good or evil depending on whether, at first glance, you find it agreeable or objectionable, but these instinctive reactions are almost worthless in terms of your evolution. Examine more carefully those forces and situations you have come to think of as evil, and you will see that perhaps they are not as bad as you thought. Human beings have concocted their own views on the subject of evil, and they are not universally valid. Most often these notions are inspired only by their weaknesses and limitations. When people approach perfection, they will change their minds. Like initiates, who see beyond the apparent horrors of evil that frighten the weak, they will learn to see it as a beneficial force, or even a friend.
