Inwardly, we take on the shape, colour, size, consistency and vibrations of the beings and objects we love. We could therefore say that love is nothing other than a levelling, an osmosis. If you love someone who is purer, nobler and more intelligent than you, exchanges are made automatically, and it is you who benefit from them, you who are elevated. The light and virtues of the one you love find a home in you, and although it does not happen immediately, of course, you gradually begin to resemble this person. Since the law of osmosis can be verified on the physical plane, why wouldn’t it also exist on the astral and mental planes? Life consists of nothing but exchanges, not only among human beings but also among the celestial bodies in the cosmos. This explains why the earth will one day become a sun: because exchanges take place between the earth and the sun as well.
