To say that you are going to seek truth is the surest way of never finding it, for truth is not something you can find on earth. He who expects to come across something one day of which he can say, 'Behold, this is truth!' is deluding himself. Truth is the world in which we live; we are linked to it, we are an integral part of it, we cannot be separated from it. We live in the truth, we eat and breathe truth, we exist within it, and it exists within us. This is why you must stop thinking of truth as something that can come to you from outside yourself. The only things that can come from outside are the contacts with other beings or with objects, books or works of art that awaken within you an intuition of truth. That is all.
