It is because the planets revolve around the sun that they receive light, warmth and life from it. If they were to cut the link they would die. And as everything in the universe is constructed from the same plan, man’s organs and cells must remain linked to his spirit, his divine Self, in the same way the planets are linked to the sun, or they will deteriorate. Initiates have observed this truth, which is inscribed everywhere in nature, everywhere, except, unfortunately, in the human head. People imagine that by cultivating anarchy and rebellion, by refusing to submit to the great cosmic laws, they are demonstrating their strength of character. But no, they are just showing their ignorance. For they become, on the contrary, increasingly dislocated and feeble. Humans acquire their true strength when they succeed in drawing all their instinctive impulses irresistibly towards their own solar centre. And once they have succeeded in doing this, harmony, plenitude and peace come to dwell in them.
