Jesus said: ‘Be perfect … as your heavenly Father is perfect.' This is the fundamental thought upon which you should endeavour to build your life. It is vital for us all to have a fundamental thought around which gravitate all our other thoughts – it is like a framework supporting the entire construction. So give the thought of divine perfection pride of place. Then all the disparate thoughts pulling you this way and that and weakening you, will find their master. They will be forced to submit and to take part in your work of inner regeneration. Every foreign thought trying to find its way in will be seized and put to the service of the divine world, as you yourself have decided to do. All the animals coming to trample the flowers in your inner garden will be subjugated, because this fundamental thought will rule them, and it will also serve as support to the luminous entities of the invisible world which will come and work within you.
