The transformation of matter into energy and energy into matter is a continuum without break or interruption. Just as energy can be crystallized into forms, so can matter disintegrate and become energy again. When we eat a fruit, it is transformed into energy that sustains not only our physical life but also our mental and emotional lives. It is thanks to this energy that we can speak, love, think, and so on, proving that crude forms of matter can be transformed into ever-subtler forms, even into light. And the reverse is also possible – light can be transformed into thoughts and feelings, even into food.
