God - the impossibility of demonstrating his existence is an argument in his favour

Why are human beings weak? Why are they unhappy? Because they look for everything, including God, outside themselves. But God is within us and we cannot separate from him. At the very most we can place dark screens and opaque layers between him and ourselves, but he is still there, present, he exists. Nothing is more real or true than the existence of God. That we cannot prove this is simply an argument in his favour. If he were as we would like him to be, if we could see him and touch him, he would be extraordinarily limited. He would no longer be God. To feel his presence should be enough for us, without wanting proof of it by such limited and inadequate means.
