When the spirit of Christ came down to earth within the person of Jesus, he was boundless, as boundless as he is today. It was his body that was limited, that is, his members - those surrounding Jesus - were incapable of being penetrated deeply enough by the spirit of Christ. Jesus was crucified because of the weakness of his members who could not realize the greatness, power and immensity of Christ. It is true that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd cried, 'Hosanna!' but when he was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, even his disciples abandoned him. This means that Jesus was small and weak within his disciples, and thus could not resist those - much more numerous - who had decided to wipe him out. Now, through the centuries, the spirit of Christ has gradually spread into the whole world. He cannot be crucified anymore because he is incarnated in an immense body, sheltered within the hearts and minds of millions of people.
