Adults still have not really understood how to behave with children, and more still they are not thoughtful enough about the way they speak to them. So many parents and teachers continuously tell them they are inadequate, dunces, idiots, and the children, influenced by suggestion, hypnotised, after a while actually do become stupid and inadequate. Be aware that words are very powerful, influential, and what adults say to children may have a highly detrimental effect on them, may make them freeze up, may frighten them. Do children really have to be intimidated into being good and obedient? Is it really necessary to frighten them with wolves, the police, the devil, or who knows what else? Then, all their lives, these children risk feeling intimidated, frightened and in danger, and they will become neurotic. There are many things adults must change in their attitude towards children otherwise what they call education will in fact be demolition.
