We refer to the divine Principle within us as our higher Self, and this is our true Self. This true Self is always higher than we are, and we can only find it by constantly projecting ourselves toward the heights. This is why the image of the sun, a symbol of the spirit, can act so beneficially on our inner life. The sun teaches us to use the powers of the spirit to carry out a work of regeneration in ourselves. From the moment we decide to count only on the spirit, on this divine entity living within us which we call our higher Self, we set an entire process in motion: as if they were attracted to a magnet, forces and elements come from space and begin to act on us. This process of regeneration is possible for each of us, but only if we first prepare the matter, our own matter, on which these elements and forces will work.
