Seed - its vocation is to become like its father, the tree
A seed is a living being that calls ceaselessly upon the forces and materials of the cosmos in order to accomplish its task. And its task is to resemble its father, the tree that produced it. The Creator has given every seed the vocation to resemble its father, the tree. So, unless it has some defect, once it is planted in the ground, all its work converges towards the accomplishment of this vocation. From among the elements available to it, it takes those it needs and discards the rest. In this way, it gradually carries out the instructions and fulfils the tendencies indicated in the blueprint within it. The same is true for human beings. Since God created human beings in His own image, this means that if they develop properly, then they can become like their heavenly Father.
