The human being is part of the cosmic structure, but he does not belong to this body as if he were simply a stone, a plant or an animal. As a conscious, thinking being, he has a different role to play. He must know all the materials of the psychic and spiritual worlds that are at his disposal, and he must learn to use them in the construction of his own life while he participates in the construction of the collective life. Sooner or later everyone will have to take part in building this edifice, in constructing the collective life, the universal life. If we lead an individualistic, egotistical life, separated from the All, it is as if we are content to amass materials without doing anything with them. Unfortunately this is the case for most people: they merely amass materials and then collapse under their weight. They must finally decide to put these materials to use in the construction of the universal life.
