Spiritual needs - reasons to give them first place
Like every living creature, human beings must satisfy certain needs, and it is in doing so that they in fact define themselves, because needs are linked to life. Yes, to live means to satisfy one’s needs: the need to breathe, to take nourishment, to protect oneself, to love, to be loved, to know, to enrich oneself, to create… There are only needs! The only real difference between people has to do with the plane on which they seek to satisfy their needs. Those who believe they can find abundance on the material plane sooner or later end up disappointed and unhappy. By neglecting the needs of their soul and spirit, they create a void in themselves which nothing can fill. Not only will they be disappointed and unhappy, but they will continually collide with others (and there are many) who, like them, give priority to their material needs. It is only spiritual needs which do not engender conflict, because the realm of the soul and spirit is immense and boundless.
