When an initiate opens his window in the morning, he greets all of nature, the sky, the sun… He wishes the day and all of creation a good morning. By this gesture of raising his hand, he enters into communication with the source of life. And nature responds to him. He greets the angels of the four elements: the angels of air, earth, water and fire, as well as the gnomes, undines, sylphs and salamanders, and then you’ll see them singing and dancing: they’re happy! And to the trees, the stones and the wind the initiate also says, ‘Greetings! Greetings! Good morning!’ You, too, should think to greet nature in the morning: you’ll feel something balancing and harmonizing within you. Much that is obscure and incomprehensible to you will leave you, quite simply because you will have taken the decision to make contact with living nature and all the creatures who inhabit it.
