How fragile a candle flame is! The slightest breeze can extinguish it. But if you feed this flame, right away every breeze and gust of wind will only increase its power. From this image you should understand that if you are weak, the least event in life will extinguish your flame, that is to say, your hopes, your inspirations, and your divine impulses. But if you are strong, your flame will become a furnace, and all difficulties and obstacles will only serve to fuel it. To the extent that small things get you down, your flame is very feeble, and you must gather more branches to feed it. You will say: 'But what branches? I don't have any!'
